Become a volunteer during the Nederlandse Dansdagen !

Our mission

The Nederlandse Dansdagen is an organization dedicated to Dutch dance. The highlight is an annual festival that takes place in and from Maastricht. In the first week of October 29-09 to 05-10 2023, a range of dance performances and the best of Dutch dance will be shown: from 'classical' to 'urban' from 'avant garde' to 'modern dance'. The Nederlandse Dansdagen strives to make the voice of dance and the dance artist sound louder. In addition, the Nederlandse Dansdagen uses the power of dance to get society moving around social themes, it challenges people to think, talk, discuss and act.

Who are we looking for?
As a volunteer at the Nederlandse Dansdagen, you are an important building block within the team and the experience of every festival visitor. Your contribution is essential for the day-to-day activities of the festival. Do you have a warm heart for our mission and do you get enthusiastic about the diverse program with exceptional dance performances? Are you available on one or more of the aforementioned festival days? Then we are looking for you!

The activities include:
- Receiving and welcoming guests.
- Checking and scanning tickets.
- Attending and supervising performances.
- Support catering and catering activities.
- Assisting the team during the festival. 

What do we offer?
You work in a dynamic environment in which you get a unique look behind the scenes of a special annual festival. For example, by supervising performances, attending award ceremonies and when your shift is over, you can volunteer to attend the dance performances. There is room for ideas within the organization and we work together to ensure that the festival runs smoothly. A big plus is meeting the dancers, choreographers, the organization and fellow dance enthusiasts. In short, you can experience up close how this festival comes about and we need you to make it a success!
